Since August of 2008, Herren has been drug-free and alcohol-free, and has refocused his life to put his sobriety and family above all other things. In 2011, Chris Herren formed the Herren Project, with the goal of helping others on their road to recovery. The Herren Project helps individuals and families find treatment and support for the disease of addiction.
