Ramanujan was working as a clerk in Madras, India under Sir Francis Spring (Stephen Fry) who was instrumental in Ramanujan catching the attention of Cambridge professor, G.H. Hardy (Jeremy Irons) who, upon discovering his potential set about bringing him to England. Along with Cambridge Fellow, John Littlewood, (Toby Jones) Hardy championed Ramanujan and worked with him to bring his genius to light. This is more than a story of just numbers, but rather one that celebrates determination, destiny, passion, spirituality and the power of love & friendship.
