This is my 5th cover on BTS songs. I have received quite a few requests to do more K-pop covers especially BTS songs. Thank you for putting in your requests and thank you for your patience in waiting for the uploads. As I am not an experience player, it will takes time to complete a song plus editing the video. I am sure many of my listeners know BTS. This group has taken over the music industry all over the world by storm. Many of their newer songs are in English and no longer confined to Korean / Japanese. BTS consisted of 7 members : Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin & V. Together they co-writes and co-produces most of BTS songs. However “Dynamite” is one of the few songs that BTS members did not contributed in composing or its productions. “Dynamite” is fully written by David Stewart and Jessica Agombar, released in August 2020. According to them, this song was “Intended to soothe listeners during the COVID-19 pandemic, the song talks about joy and appreciation for the little things that make life valuable. Upon release, "Dynamite" received positive reviews from music critics, with praise towards its catchiness and broadly appealing retro sound. It garnered the band their first Grammy nomination, for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, making them the first Korean pop act to be nominated for one. "Dynamite" reached at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming the band's first number-one single in the United States and making BTS the first all-South Korean act to do so. The song charted in the top 10 in 25 different countries and topped the charts in Hungary, Israel, Lithuania, Malaysia, Scotland, Singapore, and South Korea.” Source from Wikipedia. For me this song is quite tricky. It has a lot of tricky quavers and semi-quavers notes & rests. However the beats are very catchy and hence extremely fun to play. It has combinations of disco-pop, funk and soul feel in this song. I had a lot of fun practicing it and editing BTS video to sync with my Electone video.
