We Reject Your Apology, Mr. Issa Tchiroma Mr. Issa Tchiroma, you once declared that there was no Anglophone problem. Today, as you seek the highest office in the land, you come asking for forgiveness. But we Anglophones cannot forget — and we will not accept an apology built on denial and political ambition. Over 200 villages have been burnt to ashes by your brothers in uniform — soldiers of La République du Cameroun. Over 60,000 civilians have been brutally murdered. Our beloved grandmothers, like Mama Apih, were burnt alive in their homes. Our innocent children — Baby Endalleh, Baby Martha, and the children of Ngarbuh — were slaughtered by your brothers. And during all these years of blood and tears, you stood before the world and said there was no Anglophone problem. Mr. Tchiroma, we reject your apology — not out of hatred, but out of respect for the truth and for the countless souls who can no longer speak for themselves.
