A Junior student at Korea International School Jeju Campus, Junho Son is captivated by the daily interactions with the world around him. Seven years ago, his father needed a liver transplant, wherein the fate of his family became utterly tethered to systems that would either preserve or extinguish the increasingly deteriorating health of a loved one. This inspired his keen interest in logistics and ethics that govern the economics surrounding human organ donation.
