Years ago, his daughter Malavika (Ambika) was banished for eloping with Abdul Rahman (Captain Raju). The Impersonation: Their son, Sulaiman (Dileep), is a talented singer trained in Carnatic music. In a twist of fate, he is mistaken for Unnikrishnan Namboothiri (Sudheesh), a Brahmin priest's son. The Palace Entry: To help a friend and get closer to his estranged grandfather, Sulaiman enters the Udayapuram palace disguised as Unnikrishnan to perform a crucial religious ritual (pooja) required for the marriage of the princess, Gopika (Preetha Vijayakumar). The Conflict: While in the palace, Sulaiman wins over the household with his singing and charm, and Gopika falls in love with him. However, the comedy of errors intensifies when the chief priest, Parasu Namboothiri (Jagathy Sreekumar), becomes suspicious, and the real Unnikrishnan eventually arrives at the palace, leading to a chaotic climax.
