It's amazing how much you can get out of just one rhythm. This video focuses a lot on the Rhythmic Modes of the "funk clave": how to practice them, listen for them in music, and use them in real life. Then we briefly try the same technique on the guitar intro to Stevie Wonder's "For Once in My Life" to see how well it will work on a different rhythm altogether.
