Let's talk Re:Zero politics. Who would you vote for? There are five Royal Selection Candidates competing to be the next ruler of Lugunica: Crusch Karsten seemed like the most viable candidate in Season 1, but then in the first episode of Season 2 her memories were eaten by Lye Batenkaitos' authority of Gluttony. Anastasia Hoshin would at least keep the kingdom out of a war, however her only goal is to make money. Priscilla Barielle is even more self-centered than Anastasia though, and would rule the kingdom with an iron fist, forcing the public to obey her every command. Felt wants to end the government altogether and reject all social hierarchy, leaving Lugunica in anarchy. Emilia's wish is for all citizens to be treated equally. It's a noble goal, but very unrealistic due to the current social climate in Lugunica. TL;DR all five Royal Selection candidates are awful choices, but some are less awful than others. I took the gamble and voted for Emilia, but your opinion might be different than mine. Share your thoughts in the comment section and let me know who you want to vote for!
