What does the political climate look like on a college campus during an election year? By collaborating with student leaders from across the political spectrum and understanding the role media plays, we can learn what it takes to have meaningful and respectful conversations with each other. Spanning from U of I's Quad Day to the day before the election, hear from students both actively involved in political organizations and beyond. From activism and policy debates to the ever-evolving role of media in shaping political engagement, learn from current students what we can do to create a better political environment and the University of Illinois. This project was inspired by the work done by Braver Angels to improve civic engagement across political spectrums.
