(Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Fresno, California — On January 26, 2025, at approximately 7:20 a.m., Fresno Police Officers responded to an apartment complex near North Backer Avenue and Shaw Avenue following a burglary in progress call. A 9-1-1 caller reported seeing three armed suspects breaking into an apartment, carrying firearms and wearing masks. Surveillance footage later showed the suspects forcing entry into the victim’s residence. One man was armed with a shotgun, which was later recovered inside the apartment. After breaking into the home, the suspects drove an SUV into the courtyard, backing it up directly to the victim’s front door. Moments later, they were seen removing a large safe from the residence and attempting to load it into the SUV. As the suspects fled the scene, Fresno Police Officers arrived and intercepted the vehicle. Officer #1 gave multiple verbal commands for the suspects to get on the ground, but they ignored the orders and re-entered the SUV. The driver suddenly reversed into a building, then accelerated directly toward the officer — prompting Officer #1 to fire his service weapon in defense. The suspects fled the complex, initiating a high-speed pursuit. During the chase, Officer #3 intentionally collided with the suspect vehicle to prevent further danger to the public. Inside the SUV, officers identified the driver as 37-year-old Amicho Mancia, who was seen reaching for a rifle before fleeing on foot. Officer #3 fired multiple rounds through his windshield, striking the suspect vehicle and forcing Mancia to abandon it. A police K-9 unit was deployed, ultimately apprehending Mancia, who was found wearing body armor and suffering a gunshot wound. The passenger, 43-year-old Antwoine Francisco Mancia, was detained at the scene and taken into custody without visible injuries. Officers later recovered an AR-15-style rifle from the vehicle, along with a shotgun and bag left inside the victim’s residence. The safe was also recovered after it fell from the SUV during the suspects’ escape. Both suspects were transported to the hospital for treatment and later booked into jail. • Amicho Mancia: felony assault on an officer, robbery, and felon in possession of a firearm. • Antwoine Mancia: robbery, carrying a concealed firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, and felon in possession of ammunition. • The third suspect, 28-year-old Aaron Guery, was identified and arrested on January 29, 2025, charged with home invasion robbery. This bodycam breakdown provides a real-time look at how Fresno Police responded to an armed home invasion involving multiple suspects, firearms, and a dangerous pursuit through residential areas. #FresnoPolice #BodycamFootage #PoliceShooting #OfficerInvolvedShooting #HomeInvasion #ArmedRobbery #PolicePursuit #CrimeVideo #LawEnforcement #EyeOfTheLaw #FresnoCalifornia #BodycamBreakdown
