University of Leeds and Leeds Conservatoire Brass Band performs Hips Don’t Lie (Shakira arr. Annie Wilkins - Student Arrangement) at UniBrass 2022. The band won the UniBrass Shield and they were also awarded the Best Student Conductor prize (Annie Wilkins). Conductor: Annie Wilkins Leeds University Union Music Society Brass Band is an unauditioned band open to players of all abilities - lots of our players don’t play their first instruments when they’re with us! We’re the (unofficial) best ensemble in LUUMS and love a bit of busking and a good pub social! After a year without rehearsals, we’ve been really excited to get back to playing and performing together! UniBrass 2022 was hosted by the University of Sheffield Brass Band.
