Motorcycling to a one pub town in outback Queensland

You know what it's like. One moment you're a typical female motorcyclist touring outback Australia, in a very remote area. And the next you find yourself fantasising about a remote country pub in the middle of nowhere. What's the chance of that happening? As it turned out, pretty good actually! On this episode of Her Motorcycle Adventures I was able to set up my motorcycle camping equipment at a quiet and cheap local caravan park and then go and quench my thirst at this most interesting iconic outback Queensland pub you're likely to come across. The old hotel at Hungerford Queensland has seen it's fair share of visitors from the days of Cob and Co Coaches, to today's parched travellers, and it's amazing! A quintessential Aussie Pub experience at it's best (the nice cold beer and chicken parmigiana I can highly recommend after a long day of motorcycle riding through outback Australia). I also check out the rabbit proof fence that was constructed in the late 1800s that was ironically mentioned in Henry Lawson's musings of it being completely useless. The rabbit proof fence was later repurposed as part of the dingo fence making it the longest fence in the world, stretching from Queensland to the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.
