Russian airstrikes targeted Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and the northeastern city of Kharkiv on January 24, 2026, as negotiators from Russia, Ukraine, and the United States held talks in Abu Dhabi on a US-proposed plan to end the nearly four-year-long war.
