Closing Keynote at the "Purpose and Health across the LIfe Span" conference "Purpose and Health across the Life Span: A Relational Developmental Systems Perspective" Richard Lerner, Tufts University Richard Lerner, Bergstrom Chair in Applied Developmental Science; Director, Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development, Tufts University. Dr. Lerner’s work focuses on life-span human development and social change, as well as on relations between adolescents and their peers, families, schools, and communities. His work integrates the study of community-based programs with the promotion of positive youth development and youth contributions to civil society. The Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development is a center of excellence for the conduct and dissemination of scholarship to enhance the lives of diverse children, families, and communities. Followed by closing remarks by Anthony Burrow, Program for Research on Youth Development and Engagement, Cornell University.
