The 2024 Chevy Trailblazer Is Nice, But Lacks Polish

The Trailblazer was a rather well known SUV back in it's heyday, originating from the iconic Blazer nameplate, it was a family SUV with some off-roading chops. It was part of the SUV's of that time, that pun not-intended, trailblazed the way for a lot of the nameplates we consider pivotal today. So when it was brought back as a sub-compact SUV you can assume there was much controversy. The comparisons to the SUV the 2021 model shared a nameplate with were constant. Nonetheless, the nameplate in it's new form has sold well. And after spending some time with a 2024 Activ Trim example I can see why. It's an easy car to live with, more importantly with a low sticker price to boot. Making it a great choice for small families, older people looking for a small compact SUV to cruise around in, and even young adults to teens looking for a first vehicle that's safe and gas efficient. Yet, the problems I ran into just proved that GM had a lack of care with many aspects of the vehicle, especially with usability.
