KING KONG - The Lost Spider Pit Sequence recreation (2015)

This is my personnal version of the "Spider-Pit" sequence from the original King Kong (1933). The original footage was cut out of the original movie because it was deemed "too gruesome" and was subsequently lost. I chose to not include the music during the Spider Pit attack because apparently no track was recorded even at the time. During the test viewing in 1933, when the scene was considered too violent for the public, there was no music. It has also added horror. I edited this scene with real footage of Willis O Brian works on other films where the same pit monsters appear. The famous lost "Spider in the Pit" scene exists only as some photographs so i used all of them (originals and some i have retouched for animation) in this edit. I also used the work of Peter Jackson's superb recreation of the infamous lost scene realised in 2005. It was very hard to make... I hope you enjoy it :)
