He was the colourful and controversial Bitcoin mogul who made himself filthy-rich pioneering the world's first antivirus software. John McAfee was as eccentric as they come - an accused murderer, a self-confessed womaniser, an accomplished fugitive, a wannabe-US president, and, presently, a prisoner in Spain on charges of tax evasion. This would be one of his final interviews. In the booming Bitcoin world, depending on who you ask, he's either a deity, or a dropkick. The 75-year-old once promised that he would 'eat his own (penis) on national television' if the price of bitcoin didn't soar to a million US dollars by 2020 (it's currently worth just over $52,000). US authorities allege McAfee recently made over $30 million in secret fees for pushing false and misleading cryptocurrency recommendations. He's a man even the top US authorities struggle to find. But prior to his arrest in Spain, Matt Doran tracked him down, and met with the entrepreneur for a bizarre tour of his heavily-fortified home in middle America.
