If you bought the zetec pieces individually and without the kit, you're probably wondering where are the instructions? They don't really exist on the internet. This is a brief walk through of the installation process of the front zetec chin and rear valence on a MK3 2012-2014 Ford Focus (non ST/RS). Items you'll need for installation: Jack and 2x stands (for front installation) Standard flat head screwdriver (I also use a fine needle-nose plier) to unclip body panels and clips T30 Torx with ratchet for removing panel screws Small bolts and nuts x4 (short and somewhat thick) for attaching the front black lower air dam to the rest of the chin 3m double sided adhesive tape (1 roll should be enough) Safety glasses (popping panels off + dirt stuck under there) Heat gun or hair dryer to warm up 3m tape Cutting pliers, dremel, or multitool (to cut the 4 studs/prongs) Microfiber towel to press on 3m tape (to not scratch paint and it will be hot) Extra set of hands to hold front chin in place while fitting General instructions: FRONT This is the hardest and you'll need a set a hand for about 5 minutes to hold the front chin in place. Start by jacking the car up, in gear, parking brake on, use both jack stands. Remove the forward under panel, several T30 screws and pop-in clips, and remove the screw in the wheel well. Once the front under panel is off, remove the front side splitters by working your way from the wheel well clip on the inside with a flat head screwdriver, twist and push to release the progned clips. Do this on the next 3 or so clips and push and they should pop out and the inner/forward most clip will need to be twisted and pushed out. Repeat for the other side. Clean the lower front bumper with dilute isopropyl alcohol to about 2 inches up for the 3m tape. Use a dremel or multitool to cut the 4 posts/prongs/studs off the new chin (easier the cutting holes in your bumper). Make sure it is smooth. Remove the masking tape on the chin and wipe with alcohol as well. Place 3m tape (do not remove top yet). Practice dry fitting a couple times until you're comfortable. Get a set of hands to squat in the front middle to hold that area in place. Remove covering from 3m tape, heat up, and then fit. Make sure the taps tilt up into the slits, if they bend down, stop and pull them up with a screwdriver. Get under the car and pop in the clips. Make sure they're all the way in. Use extra heat on the outside and press on the tape to get a good fit. Reinstall the screws, under panel piece, and clips. REAR Removal T30 screw from wheel well, each side. Remove 2 clips on brackets. Use screwdriver, twist, and press to get the lower piece off. Use pliers to get the red reflectors off and insert on new rear valence. Do not put on the lower black diffuser piece yet. Install the lower valence from the outside of the bumper, pressing in, you should hear pops. Then get under and pull them through to make sure they're all the way in. Install the 2 clips for the support brackets. Install lower diffuser with clips, lining up everything, from the outside and then get under again and make sure clipped in. Reinstall wheel well T30 screws.
