Driving a car requires a certain level of dexterity and control, especially with your feet coordinating the gas & brake pedals. When you introduce footwear like high heels, flip-flops, or even the absence of shoes altogether, that control can be significantly compromised. High heels can make it difficult to feel the pedals properly and can easily slip off, leading to jerky starts and potential loss of control. Similarly, driving barefoot, while seemingly offering more feel, lacks the necessary grip and protection, increasing the risk of your foot slipping and making it harder to apply consistent pressure.
