Join me on this grueling 21-mile round-trip adventure from Happy Isle trailhead in Yosemite Valley up to the majestic Clouds Rest. Clouds Rest stands at 10,000 feet elevation offering a 360-degree view of Yosemite. Truly one of the best views in the park. Most people start the clouds rest trail at Sunrise Lakes Trailhead by Tenaya Lake but I decided to tackle the route from Yosemite Valley to take on the 10.5 mi., 6000-foot elevation gain challenge. On the way down, I came down the mist trail to capture some amazing shots of Vernal and Nevada Falls.
