Lining the Brim of a Hat

In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to knit a liner for the brim portion of a hat. Skills required: stockinette stitch, knitting in the round, Fair Isle or stranded knitting and “magic loop.” Double point needles (DPNs) may be used in place of “magic loop.” I have videos on these skills on my channel. This requires a provisional cast on which iI demonstrate at the beginning of the video using a crochet hook and a straight knitting needle. The straight knitting needle is only required for the provisional cast on. Circular needles are used thereafter and for the remainder of the project.
