Let's make a crocheted scarf together, grab a crochet hook and some wool and let’s begin, 1st row. Have you ever wanted to start a craft, crocheting and have not been sure where to start. Or that pattern has captured your heart but it made no sense. Let’s start at the beginning and make a scarf together. Foundation stitch, or slip knot to start. Row 1 - CH (Chain) 31 stitches, you can have as many or few chain stitches as you want, only you know the width you prefer for your scarf. All you need is a crochet hook and a ball of wool. Crochet hook I am using is 4mm The wool which I have chosen to use is DK (Double Knitting) which was £2.49 per ball. Wool – Divante, Rainbow Brights Ombre Knitting Yarn. I am not using a pattern but practicing the basics. Follow as we make the scarf together. Well done, on your first row of chain stitch, the joy of creating now begins.
