1988 Kyosho Ford RS-200: Part 1 - Unboxing, History and Pre Restoration Inspection

As a vintage and rare model, it is our pleasure to be able to share the 1988 Kyosho RS-200 Nitro RC Car. In this video, we will be taking an initial look at the condition of the car and body, and going over some technical specs and history, 30 years after this car was first released. This Model was released in 1988 and featured the OS Max 10 Engine (10 FP-B Engine), along with twin priming buttons for cold weather starting and all the original components. Car model number: 3029800 As seen in this video, this car is in a very dirty condition. In the following videos, we will be restoring this car back to it's former glory with a full strip down of the components and a full respray of the shell where we will pick up a number of new airbrushing and respraying skills.
