Today was a full Saturday in the woods — cutting, splitting, hauling, burning, and doing everything we can to keep pushing this farm forward. We cleaned up more of the storm-damaged trees, split and stacked a trailer full of firewood, hauled out the big logs we didn’t split, and kept burning brush all throughout the day. My wife and son came out to help for a bit, which is always the best part of the weekend. It was a long day, but a productive one — exactly the kind of progress that slowly brings this old farm back to life. Thanks for spending the day with us.
