G‑Class Experience: pushing the Mercedes G‑Class to the limits off-road The enormously successful one-day experience immerses participants in the world of the G‑Class. The action happens on a unique adventure playground covering 100,000 square metres. A maximum of 24 guests in three small groups can experience the incredible potential of the off-road vehicle icon at four test modules. There’s the G Rock climbing challenges, sloping roads, natural twists and turns as well as water crossings in the forest. Experienced instructors help each driver to explore the vehicle’s incredible capabilities on different surfaces and gradients. Customers learn to skilfully handle the three differential locks. And as a passenger negotiating the Iron Schöckl, they finally understand why the G‑Class has a grab handle on the dashboard. In the on-road module, skills are pushed to the limit with extreme braking, evasive manoeuvres and slalom courses. An exclusive factory tour at Magna Steyr, where every ‘G’ has been built since 1979, offers a glimpse behind the scenes into the development and creation of the G‑Class. The ‘G‑Class Experience’ takes place every year from April to November at a price of 2,490 euros (2,990 euros for two persons). This year, for the first time, the G‑Class Experience Center can be booked for corporate events. Whether it’s a company anniversary, a team-building exercise or a summer party, the purpose-built G Base offers a unique hospitality area surrounded by an inspiring exhibition about the fascination of the G‑Class.
