Budtender Appreciation Day | Dope Magazine. | NorCal 2017

The very first annual Northern California Budtender Appreciation Day was held this past weekend in beautiful San Francisco. The B.A.D. Party has been part of the DOPE Magazine tradition for years and it was finally the NorCal community’s time to shine! DOPE paired up with Presenting Sponsor Northern Emeralds to give back to both budtenders and cannabis professionals who work day in and day out to defend our plant spreading relief and joy in all who they meet. Attendees enjoyed a night of dabbing, snacking, playing and relaxing in the laid back and modern Terra Gallery on Harrison street in the heart of the city. Attendees received a swag bag with over $350 worth of cannabis products ranging from smoking accessories, edibles, topicals, concentrates and an entire eighth of cannabis flower courtesy of Northern Emeralds. Cannabis lovers from all over California had the opportunity to network and try new products at Sponsor activation booths put together by Marley Natural, ​​Korova, Leafly, Greenbits, Green Rock Botanicals and W Vapes. Sponsors can out in full effect to educate and connect through demos and smoking. All our sponsors created a real kick back with a joint and relax with good friends vibe. The Slider Shack came through with the legit assortment of creative sliders and sides; while Flourish Edibles served up infused sweets at an interactive dessert station torching artisanal s’mores and more. DJ Tony Tone created the perfect atmosphere keeping the event NorCal chill giving our San Fran cannabis family what they all needed—a night off! An evening of new connections, catching up with old friends, cannabis education and of course a ton of cannabis itself in all of its incarnations made for a perfect Dope debut. The B.A.D. Party helped to bring defenders of our patients and our plant together to reward them for a job well done.
