Best Plantain seedlings 30 days in the propagation.Its healthy and beautiful

Today we visited the Propagation site to look at the germination of the plantain suckers. This project was designed to train farmers on plantain propagation and production. We succeeded to train about 10 persons most of them internally displaced persons. The aim was to give them the skills to be able to get engaged in Farming and we chose plantain propagation and production because it entails just a small piece of land and a little capital. Secondly, the demand for Plantain suckers is high and this activity can help feed these people, their families, and the community, and they can sell these suckers and generate income. This project was not just to train them but we also will be donating about 1000 suckers to orphanages and some internally displaced persons in Cameroon who have farmlands. Part of these suckers will be planted by Sustain Afric at one of his farms in the outskirts of Buea to continue training these persons on sustainable plantain production. The bunches of produce would be sold to generate money to organize similar training and empowerment projects and some donated to our community We have learned to engage in sustainable projects that can help our community. We hope to not just give food to people but give them the skills to feed themselves and their families and also generate income.
