Coquitlam Education Learning Centre | Station One Architects

The Education Learning Centre for Coquitlam School District is designed to replace their existing School Board office and combine many other programs and departments together on one site. The building consists of a mixture of primarily office spaces and meeting rooms with an International Education component. The use of large glazing walls and the DIRTT office partition system allowed for a flexible open design concept which intends on bringing the outdoor natural light into most interior spaces. There was an ever growing need within the District to provide more spaces for meeting and School Board meetings for the ongoing collaboration between the School District and the Public. The facility will serve as the headquarters for all new School District development, ongoing Information Services and Education throughout the ever expanding School District.
