Exploring the Lake District | Above the Clouds and Far Away
We spend 2 days in the Lake District National Park as we attempt to 'bag' at least 3 Wainwrights a day. We visit the wonderful town of Keswick, on the banks of Derwent Water as well as visiting England's only mountain forest. While there we made it our challenge to find a wild Red Squirrel. On day 1 we managed to bag Cat Bells, Maiden Moor and High Spy, before climbing Stybarrow Dodd, Raise and White Side on day 2. We were able to witness the most amazing cloud inversion and it felt like we had the mountains to ourselves. These are the days you live for! We hope you enjoy the video.
