Today, we begin an exciting and magical journey throughout the Americas in our search for #HummingbirdTales. Every other Saturday, we will share one tale with you! Our very first tale comes from the heart of Peru and is a story passed through generations by the Quechua People from the Peruvian Andes. “The Mission of the Hummingbird” is an ancient pre-Columbian story that narrates the misfortune the world once went through due to a terrible drought, and how in a purely magical event, a sacred Qantu flower became a courageous hummingbird that saved us all.
