🎉 What Are Pronouns? | Cool Kids Learning Club 🎉 Hello Cool Kids! 👋 Welcome back to Cool Kids Learning Club, where learning is fun, easy, and exciting! Today, we are learning about PRONOUNS—little words that do a big job! 💪 👦👧 What Is a Pronoun? A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun. 👉 A noun is a name of a person, place, animal, or thing. Instead of saying the noun again and again, we use a pronoun. Example: Tom is my friend. Tom likes to play. ❌ Tom is my friend. He likes to play. ✅ He is a pronoun! 🧍♀️🧍♂️ Personal Pronouns Personal pronouns talk about people or things. ✨ Singular Pronouns (one) I you he she it ✨ Plural Pronouns (more than one) we you they Examples: I like reading 📖 She is my teacher 🍎 They are playing outside ⚽ 🔄 Subject and Object Pronouns Some pronouns do the action. Some pronouns receive the action. 👉 Subject Pronouns (do the action) I, you, he, she, it, we, they Example: He runs fast 🏃♂️ 👉 Object Pronouns (receive the action) me, you, him, her, it, us, them Example: The teacher helps me 👩🏫 🧸 Possessive Pronouns Possessive pronouns show ownership—they tell us who owns something. Examples: my / mine your / yours his her / hers our / ours their / theirs Sentences: This is my bag 🎒 The book is hers 📘 ❓ Reflexive Pronouns Reflexive pronouns are used when someone does something to themselves. These pronouns end in -self or -selves: myself yourself himself herself itself ourselves themselves Example: I dressed myself 👕 🎯 How to Find a Pronoun Ask yourself: Is this word replacing a noun? Is it talking about a person or thing? If yes, it’s probably a pronoun! 🎮 Let’s Practice! Find the pronoun in this sentence: 👉 Sara has a cat. She loves it. ✔️ The pronoun is She!
