After riding the famous mountain road from Chiang Mai, we finally made it to Pai. This video follows two days exploring Pai, one of northern Thailand’s most relaxed little towns. We check into our hotel, wander through the Pai markets, eat way too much food and end the night with drinks at a local bar and tea shop. The next morning we set off on our bikes to explore some of the best places around Pai. First stop: the Pai hot springs. The water is so hot you can literally boil eggs in it. After that we head to the famous bamboo bridge surrounded by rice fields before riding up to Pai Canyon to catch the sunset. The views are incredible, although getting up there is more of a workout than expected. The evening doesn’t quite go to plan when we try a Caribbean restaurant that turned out to be pretty terrible, but we finish the night properly with a traditional Thai massage. The next morning things get even funnier when two of my friends wake up completely destroyed after taking an edible the night before. They can barely get out of bed. Meanwhile I decide to go and do yoga. Classic Pai.
