Welcome to part 1 of the MBR SL E-Bike of the Year test with 8 of the hottest 2025 models going head-to-head. We've got the Orbea Rise LT, Santa Cruz Heckler SL, Whyte E-Lyte, Cannondale Moterra SL, Specialized Turbo Levo SL, Trek Fuel EXe, Orange Phase EVO, and Norco Fluid VLT. Motor systems featured include the Shimano EP801, Bosch Performance SX, TQ HPR 50, Fazua Ride 60, and Specialized SL 1.1. That's over 4kw of power! To kick things off we've got a weigh-in video for all the bikes. After all, the biggest selling point on all these bikes is the weight, or rather the lack of it. All tyres were filled with 100g of sealant, and bikes were weighed without pedals, so you'll have to add the weight of your favourite pedals to the total to get a complete bike weight. https://www.continental-tires.com/pro...
