Shazam was a more lighthearted comic book movie from DC and Warner Bros and was a financial success for the Studio, enough for them to move forward with Shazam 2 Fury of the Gods. Shazam 2 was released and unfortunately failed at the box office and did not end up being a return on investment for DC and Warner Bros Discovery. But that doesn't mean that Shazam 2 was a bad film.
