Finally, a new video! Sorry it took so long, I moved houses and it took a while to get back into my mojo, so to speak (in-fact, by the time this premiers, my summer holidays would've just finished). I was also busy with other projects. Due to the gap, I can't actually remember my thought process behind this track all that well. I'm pretty sure at the time I initially conceived this track, I had just finished off the Thunder Cross duology (or at least the first one) and the technological marvel spin-off, Space Manbow. Skywalker took my interest from the moment I first heard it due to its distinct, almost nostalgic sound. Space Manbow's music also took my interest due to how great it was, so naturally I thought about covering one of the songs in the latter's style (which makes further sense when you realise that Manbow was originally going to be a straight port of Thunder Cross), especially with the idea of playing with the famous SCC growl. I also boosted the audio on the PSG percussion, as per other similar videos that do MSX/SCC oscilloscopes, due to their low volume. (Though hopefully I didn't blow it up too much.) This took a while. A long while. To the point where near the end I just wanted to finish it. Hence why it might feel a bit more haphazard than my previous covers (though to be fair, I was working off purely Space Manbow sourced instruments). And hence why the clouds in the thumbnail aren't exactly accurate, being just copy and pastes of each other; they tested my patience so much I just gave up. At least it looks slightly nice... I am still somewhat proud of it's details and accuracy to the MSX's limited "stripy" limitations. Will I be back? Well you know my lack of a schedule; I don't plan on abandoning this anytime soon. Enjoy, and sayonara for now! Composer: Seiichi Fukami, Junichiro Kaneda Arranger: CGE Download: https://file.garden/Zq_P4aZh03FXNH7z/...
