I wasn’t feeling it and went on a bit of a rant about the UK in general, the poor leadership we see, and how we’ve become a society that builds people up just to tear them down instead of being kind and supportive. Sometimes you need to say the uncomfortable stuff out loud. Later in the day, I headed to my nephew’s birthday party for a few hours before attending a fundraising event to raise money for Wales Over 50s Cricket, helping them travel to South Africa to play. I reflected on how sometimes we show up and do things not because we want to, but because it’s the right thing to do. Sunday started early with rehearsals for the new girl group, Sixth Sense, followed by a full management meeting. After that, it was into staff 1-to-1s and admin, before switching fully into family mode with swimming with the kids.
