Walking in Pookinpolku nature trail in Rokua National Park. This park is part of the Unesco Geopark and is located in Northern Ostrobothnia region of Finland. Typical landscapes are the old-growth pines, sand dunes, clear water ponds and the beautiful lichen. More info: https://www.nationalparks.fi/en/rokuanp I had a very nice relaxing walk in Pookinpolku trail (around 6km). If you are tired of the mosquitos in Finnish forests, this is the place to go. Its mostly just dry pine forests, so there are very few mosquitos here. Also, the landscape is pretty unique comparing to other Finnish parks.
