EMERALD ISLES SERIES PART 1 Location: Glasgow, Glencoe, Loch Ness- Scotland I'm sharing my travels from March 2023 where we spent 2 weeks adventuring through both Scotland and Ireland! If you're traveling to Scotland to see the Highlands or just experience what the historic cities have to offer, you're in for a treat. After some travel hiccups in the beginning, we started our itinerary off with a long nap lol. I chose the book accommodations through airbnb because it was one of the cheapest options available. The first night we spent at a cozy private apartment located on the Clyde river only a 10 minute walk from city center. This was our most expensive stay of the entire trip at $193 per night. All other accommodations for this trip were under $100 a night so I felt a little better about splurging for a river view After taking a much deserved rest, we headed out to The Hard Rock Cafe for dinner (for a guarantied gluten free menu) and were pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff were with all of their recommendations! The next day we were off and running with a full day tour. I booked our tour through GetYourGuide and it was hosted by TimberBush Tours. The trip was a small tour of only 8 people which made it extremely personal! Not to mention our tour guide, Stewart, had the best accent and I could listen to it all day!
