I’ve always loved the feel of Malayalam songs from the 90s and early 2000s, especially the way Carnatic elements blended so beautifully into film melodies. Composers like Vidyasagar Master were a big inspiration for me growing up. ‘Hridaya Ragam’ came from that nostalgia. I tried to capture that old melodic feeling and blend it with a modern sound. The lyrics speak about a melody that quietly lives in the heart, like a raga flowing through memories.
