VERY windy hike to the summit of Mount Mansfield in Vermont | Hidden Gems

This may the windiest hike I've ever been on. Imagine being at the summit of a mountain and winds are just racing over it and pounding you in the face. That's what it was like! If you're new here, I'm Lincoln Riddle, the Hidden Gems travel guy. I visit hidden gems while traveling and make videos on them for YouTube. Originally, this video was going to be about how you can drive up Vermont's tallest mountain, Mount Mansfield, using a toll road, which goes through Stowe Ski Resort. However, once I got to the top I realized I hadn't done enough research, and you actually had to hike to the summit. Not a problem for me, as I love hiking! But on this particularly day, the hike was pretty wild...at least to me. It was very windy! If you're in the area and you just want to quickly drive up Mount Mansfield to catch a quick view, don't let this hike deter you. The views the whole drive are great, and you can get some decent views by simply walking 5 minutes down the trail to the summit. Got a hidden travel gem? Let me know in the comments!
