It nearly killed me to make capturing all the Arkham Shadow footage, it’s a beautiful looking game, but translating that into 2 dimensions while trying to cinematically mix in footage from Arkham Origins, Arkham Knight, etc. was a tough task which made for a long edit. Anyways, I cried while making this one, much like the first Arkham Video Essay covering the story of Arkham Bruce Wayne and Joe Chill, I cried about the story of the Arkham Two-Face, the Arkhamverse Harvey Dent. What brilliant writing, what a brilliant twist on his origin, what way to take a fairly weak character from Arkham City, and turn him into the greatest tragedy of the entire Arkham Franchise. Anyways, this was a death trap to make, but hopefully, it felt raw and true for you. Camouflaj should get to make another Arkham game, Arkham VR, or not. Truly the most empathetic and compelling Batman Arkham Story to date. The Tragedy of Arkham Shadow is that so few will play it, Batman: Arkham’s Greatest Tragedy is the fact that all these lost souls will slowly degrade into their shadows.
