This video is on one of my Finnish wwii collectibles. This is a civilian gas mask and if of the earliest domestic designs of a gas mask in Finland. This has very good construction and is in quite good condition like most gas masks as the vast majority have been unused. These would have probably been pressed into service had there been a chemical attack on Finland during the war since the army models of gas mask were made in nowhere near large enough numbers. I’m by no means an expert in gas masks and they aren’t my strong suit and would appreciate any addition information left in the comments.
