Carols by Candlelight @ Bearwood Baptist @ 6pm 21-12-25. You are very welcome to join us for our annual Community Choir-led traditional Nine Lessons and Carols Candlelit Service. There will be a mix of traditional carols to sing along too and sung pieces to listen to. Samosas and mince pies with hot drinks will be served afterwards. Come and start Christmas off with a bang! Carols include Hark the Herald Angels Sing, O Come All Ye Faithful, Coventry Carol, Away in a Manger and others. Sung pieces include Torches, A Starlit Night on Earth, Gaudette and finishing with an old favourite. Jonathan Girling, composer and Minister of Bearwood Baptist, will be leading the choir, and Hannah Girling will be giving a short talk near the end. Special thanks to our choir members, including members of other churches (St Gregorys, St Marys, Bearwood Chapel & others) and none. Everyone is always welcome to sing. Thank you so much for all your committment & hard work this year. Giving: we're collecting for the repairs to the roof of the 1903 Hall and Parlour. PLEASE do support us - it is the focal point for Bearwood Hub, Different Strokes, and numerous other events and groups. It has to be repaired and we desperately need your help.
