Welcome back to Sailing Seakat! This is Part 2 of our biggest trip yet – our adventure to the Solent and the long journey home. Before attempting our monster passage back, we spent a couple of incredible days in Cowes, Isle of Wight – easily our favourite place we’ve visited so far. From the marina atmosphere to the sailing culture, Cowes completely won us over. We also squeezed in a day out at the historic dockyard in Portsmouth, exploring ships and maritime history… all while it absolutely poured with rain. Not the weather we hoped for, but definitely memorable & Prim LOVED IT! Then came the big challenge: We planned a massive 28-hour straight sail home with no stops. But the sea had other plans… In this episode we push Seakat harder than ever before, riding tides, dodging traffic, and fighting fatigue as we attempt our longest passage yet.
