We visited Universal Studios in Hollywood and while there we watched the incredible WaterWorld Show. This is a must see. Try to sit in the middle section for the best view, but we were fine with the view we had. The show is based on the Kevin Costner film by the same name. This deals with the melting of the polar ice caps that put most of the land masses under the sea, and the survivors live on man made Atolls. The Mariner, the hero of the movie, has adapted with gills and can now live above and below the sea. From the Universal Studios WebPage: "Experience WaterWorld – Universal Studios #1 rated show. With new sets, a new cast, and all new action, WaterWorld is one show at Universal Studios Hollywood you just can’t miss!" This would be a fun show to film and edit using multiple Video cameras. As it was, I used my iPhone, and had to sit in the seat. I cropped the video, used the Ken Burns effect, and even used Instant Replay to capture the plane crash. I had no zoom control on the camera using the app, Filmic Pro, so all of the closeups was done in Post Production This was filmed on an iPhone XS Max, with a DJI Osmo Mobile 2 Gimble, edited on a 2011 MacBook Pro using Final Cut Pro X and compressed using Apple Compressor.
