This video showcases some of Worth School student's participating on an annual trip across Europe to see the battlefields and memorials of World War I. The yearly outing which included trips to the Tyne Cot Cemetery (Belgium), Langemark Cemetery (Belgium), Poperinge Concentration Camp (Belgium), Vimy Ridge (France) and the Lochnagar Crater (France), among other locations that were in relation to World War 1. The trip highlighted the importance of remembering those who fought for their fellow man during the conflict. The 2010 trip took in memorials created after the war, cemeteries for those that perished (including graves for unknown soldiers) and battlefields from the conflict. The war, that happened between 1914 and 1918 was a major event and the students learnt the importance of remembering those who served in the conflict. The video not only shows the various locations that the Worth School students visited on the trip, but also the students discuss some of the emotions that the World War 1 memorials drew from the students.
