Calvary, 1989-2022 January 18th, 2026 The Baldwin Family" Dr. Christopher Petit earned a B.A. in Art History from the College of Wooster for which he completed a thesis on the liturgical use of the labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral. He received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in organ performance and historical keyboards from the Eastman School of Music. Chris moved to Erie three years ago to become director of music at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul and soon after joined the faculty at Mercyhurst's D'Angelo School of Music where he conducts the Concert and Chamber choirs and teaches conducting. Chris is honored to have met Vicki, to have learned of her expertise, and to have experienced her genuine kindness and inspiring spirit. Ms. Margaret Andraso, originally from WNY and a proud Erie native since '00, is an active soloist and choral performer and has collaborated with the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra, Erie Opera Theatre, and Erie Chamber Orchestra. She's been a member of, and a soloist with, the Cathedral of St. Paul's Cathedral Choir for 25 years and also sings with Dr. Petit's Compline Choir. She has performed with Transcendence (Erie's first professional choir), Erie Renaissance Singers, Lake Erie Choral Artists as member and General Manager, taught voice at the Sullivan Conservatory at Mercyhurst University, and taught music classes and conducted choirs at the collegiate level. Dr. Philip Baldwin is a Professor of Music, Violin, ad Viola and Director of Orchestral and String Studies at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. He is also the conductor of the Youth Symphony in Spokane and concert master and assistant conductor of the Coeur D'Alene symphony in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. Mt. Calvary would like to express our appreciation to the members of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Meadville for their generosity in donating their organ console to our church, so that it can continue to provide music to the Glory of God.
