In this episode of Takalani Sesame, our muppet friends learn how to speak up when something is bothering them. We also learn about how our bodies are all different and special. In the first half, the friends are playing ball toss. But when it is Elephant’s turn, she gets upset because Basma called her Ellie instead of Elephant. Oh dear! Speaking up and telling others what you like to be called is very important. Elmo’s Dad, Uncle Louis, sings a song with Elephant to remind her how special she is. Elephant feels much better and decides to tell everyone why she was feeling upset. The friends all understand because Elephant spoke up and used her voice. Well done, Elephant! In the second half, the friends are playing the “Mirror the leader” game. Have you ever played it before? One person stands in the front and everyone else has to copy what they do. But when Elmo is the leader and he wiggles his fingers, Elephant and Chicken feel left out because they do not have fingers! Luckily Elephant has a great idea for everyone to mirror the leader in their own special way. Remember, we are all different and there’s nothing wrong with that. Our bodies are awesome the way that they are! It is what makes us each special. For more Takalani Sesame videos be sure to SUBSCRIBE to Takalani Sesame at https://www.youtube.com/@TakalaniSesa...
