Winter adventures in Seoul, South Korea

Our winter adventure in South Korea began with a subway ride from Incheon Airport to Recenz Hotel in Dongdaemun. We explored Seoul using its fantastic subway system, visiting City Hall for the ice skating rink, then halal lunch at Samcheongdong. From there, we admired the historic Gwanghwamun Square, the historic statues of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and King Sejong, and the grand Gyeongbokgung Palace, followed by the charming Deoksugung Palace. We later enjoyed the lights at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, traditional houses in Bukchon Hanok Village, and street food at Gwangjang Market. We also paid a visit to Seoul's hip shopping district, Common Ground, near Konkuk University. Outside Seoul, we explored Everland Theme Park, the historical Daejanggeum Theme Park, and Elysian Gangwon Ski Resort for skiing. We marvelled at Mount Seoraksan's beauty, watched the sunrise at Jeongdongjin, and savored fresh seafood at Pohang. A perfect blend of culture, food and winter magic.
