We're never at a loss for surprises with these 20's records! While listed as Benny Meroff's Orchestra, Rust's credits Okeh 41079 as Sam Lanin and His Famous Players (I thought while it was playing it sounded awfully Laninish)--complete with a nice Tommy Dorsey solo following the vocal duet. I also call this a record with a false ending--it's probably just my imagination, but right at 3:00 it sounds like the arrangement is coming to an end, then it gets a reprieve and goes on for a couple of more bars, just wonder if the person manning the equipment gave them the signal to keep playing a bit longer. I've had this record for over 30 years, but it no doubt dwelt in another collector's possession as well and he wanted to be sure the artists were credited--thus the stickers on the label.
